Three dates to put on the calendar
NASCAR’s championship weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway runs November 6–8, 2026. The published starts convert to 6:30 p.m. Friday, 4 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday in Houston. The order is Craftsman Truck Series, O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, then Cup Series. These are scheduled starts, not results or a guarantee that racing will begin at the exact minute listed.
The Houston-time race card
- Friday, November 6: Craftsman Truck Series, 6:30 p.m. Houston.
- Saturday, November 7: O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, 4 p.m. Houston.
- Sunday, November 8: Cup Series, 2 p.m. Houston.
The organizer lists Eastern starts of 7:30 p.m., 5 p.m. and 3 p.m., respectively. This guide subtracts one hour for America/Chicago on those dates. Keep date and zone together when sharing a reminder: a screenshot showing only an hour and “tonight” loses its meaning when opened the following day. This conversion is for Houston, not every local clock along a cross-country trip.
A race and an appointment are separate entries
If you work through the weekend, put a personal viewing reminder beside the actual work calendar rather than replacing a pickup, delivery or required rest entry. Decide when you are available before deciding how much of a broadcast to follow. A sporting event does not change a load’s terms or establish parking permission. This is a viewing guide; it does not confirm commercial-vehicle parking at the circuit or at a nearby property.
Make a reminder that survives travel
A useful calendar entry identifies the series, full date and time zone. If your device changes its displayed clock as you travel, check the event’s stored zone as well as the number on the screen. When coordinating with another fan, agree whether you mean Houston time or the venue’s time. Do not copy a Florida listing into a Houston calendar without checking how the application interprets it. These are planning suggestions, not additional facts about the sporting program.
Check your own television access
Check the organizer’s current television listing and your own service before making a viewing plan. An event listing alone does not establish that a subscription, device, location or country has access. Check your own service’s listing before depending on it. This guide does not promise a free stream or replay. If a full race does not fit your available time, use the organizer’s results afterward rather than treating a preview, an entry list or a qualifying order as the final classification.
Keep each competition’s outcome distinct
When saving an update, label both the series and the stage of the event. A starting position is not a finishing position; race winner and season champion are also separate fields to verify. This preview does not name a champion in advance. Read the dated official result for the competition you followed instead of carrying an outcome from one series into another.
The final check before tuning in
Reopen the official weekend page near your intended viewing time and compare its current start and current television listing with your reminder. That is the next step recommended here. Take changes from the organizer’s current information rather than inferring them from this morning’s copy. Keep driving and viewing separate. If work leaves no suitable opportunity to watch, results can be checked later. The source below is the dated NASCAR page used for this schedule.
